Oaty Coconut Slices
I love these oaty slices - it was my moms favourite nibble!
With coffee or tea,
My weekend is sorted!
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup plain flour
3/4 cup coconut
3/4 cup raw sugar
125 gram butter
2 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Method
1 Grease a 25cm x 30cm Swiss roll pan. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
2 Combine oats, sifted flour, coconut and sugar in large bowl. Combine butter, honey and water in saucepan, stir over heat until butter is melted, stir in soda, pour into dry ingredients; stir until combined.
3 Press mixture evenly into prepared pan. Bake for about 25 minutes, cool in pan before cutting.
