MINI CHERRY CHEESE DANISHES
FOR MAKING THE FILLING, I ONLY USED:
Cream cheese, you’ll need 4-ounces.
4 large spoons.Of powdered sugar.
For the canned Cherry pie filling, I used 10 small spoons.
THE GLAZE INGREDIENTS
1/2 Cup.Of powdered sugar.
3 small spoons.Of milk.
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
To begin, your oven should be preheated at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the crescent dough from the can without unrolling it. Cut the dough into 8 pieces and arrange them on a cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Step 2
Using your fingers, press each slice into 3-inch circular pieces, making sure to leave a ridge along the outside edge.
Step 3
In a small mixing dish, combine cream cheese and 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar until well combined.
Step 4
Then, you’ll need to spoon approximately 2 large spoons of the cream cheese mixture into the middle of each piece of dough and then spread it outwards.
Step 5
And using a small spoon of cherry pie filling, decorate the cream cheese mixture.
Step 6
And now, bake for approx. 14 minutes, just until the top is golden brown. Allow them to cool for 4 to 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them.
Step 7
In a small mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 3 large spoons of milk until well combined. Start with two large spoons of milk and gradually raise the quantity until you get the consistency you desire.
Step 8
Using a spoon, drizzle the glaze over the Danish and serve while still warm.
