Sweet and sour chicken 🇨🇳:
Ingredients :
- 500g of chicken fillet
- 1 onion
- 1 red pepper and 1 green
- 1 pot of sweet and sour sauce
- 1 pot of mixed Asian vegetables (bean sprouts, bamboo shoots etc.)
- 3 tbsp of flour
- 1 glass of water
- Salt and pepper
Steps :
Start by washing and mince the chicken breast. Mix the flour in parallel with the glass of water to have a kind of liquid dough. Once the chicken has been cut into small pieces, plunge it into the flour water mixture, adding salt and pepper. Mix and set aside.
Then mince the onion. Sweat it in a saucepan in a little oil then add the diced peppers. Brown them for 5 minutes. Then add the sweet and sour sauce. (you can also make it at home: ketchup, white vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and water).
Then add the pot of Asian vegetables. Fill the pot with vegetables or sauce with water and pour into the mixture. Simmer for 10 minutes over very low heat. Fry the chicken set aside. Once fried, let it cool on paper towel for 5 minutes then plunge it into the sauce. Simmer for 3 minutes. It's ready. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for decoration. Serve with rice. Good tasting 💫
